1888 Chromolithograph Spain Costume 18th Century Stilts Dress Game LCH5 ARCH France with the Ch‰teau ofThis is an original 1888 color chromolithograph which depicts two very different games played in 18th century Spain, as well as the varied costumes worn during that time period. In the upper panel, two gentlemen race each other on stilts while musicians play pipes beneath their feet. A circle of slightly more upper class ladies and gentlemen has formed in the lower panel, with a blindfolded center victim attempting to tap one of them with a spoon.
