1899 Lithograph Map Napoleonic War French Russia Army Battle Vyazma River XEF9 FAI4 This is a rare originalThis is an original 1899 color lithographed map of the Battle of Vyazma that took place on November 3, 1812 during the Napoleonic Wars. The rear guard of the French army was defeated by the Russian forces commanded by Gen. Mikhail Miloradovich. French casualties numbered around 8,000 killed and 4,000 taken prisoner while the Russians lost only 1,800 soldiers. CONDITION This 112+ year old Item is rated Very Fine ++. Light aging in margins.
