1905 Print Holland House Portrait Kensington England Architecture John Nash ARC4 SM1 PG2C14 zz2932This is an original 1905 color print featuring an image of Joseph Nash's illustration of the entrance to the grand staircase in the Holland House in Kensington, England. The estate, originally known as Cope Castle until after the Civil War, was erected around 1605 for Sir Walter Cope. During the onset of World War II in 1940, the estate was hit by a ten hour bombing raid and was mostly destroyed. Today, the ruins lay behind the Holland Park Theatre,
