HUGE strand of Antique Mauritanian Amber Bead Necklace African brass circa 1950’s42" graduated strand of roundish shaped beads which are over 100 years old and found in Mauritania, Niger, and Ethiopia. This particular strand came from a dealer in Mauritania. It is imitation (like Bakelite) amber made in Germany from plant resin, and are traded in Africa and The Middle East where they are highly prized.
