The engine side connector features a cylindrical housing with a locking ring, characteristic of MTU systems in marine environments. MTU marine engines in motorboat applications lack a standard OBD2 port. This cable remaps the pin configuration from the 12 pin connector to the corresponding OBD2 pins,
