After Bernardus Gillis's death, this mark was used by his widow for only one year, from 1833 to 1834. The usual mark is BG above a bell, but here it's topped with a v. Furthermore, the lump tongs are marked with the date letter E for 1839 (so the tongs were marked later), Minerva head and second grade hallmark. Weight: 33. 5 grams. Length: 13. 5 cm.
